Building your career from day one with Boehringer Ingelheim.

At Boehringer Ingelheim, we know how important it is to lay the right foundations and build on them with care and support.

We also know that, in an industry where innovation and vision are crucial, we need to be thinking right now about the people who will be taking us forward not today, not tomorrow, but in decades’ time. So, when we talk about investing in our future, we’re talking not just about products and facilities but in talent.

For instance, our student program has been carefully designed to allow participants to learn, to observe, to get involved in hands-on projects tailored to their abilities – and to enjoy. And it offers all the support that people need as they find their feet in the working world: accommodation and travel costs, flexible training hours and regular talent management meetings. Some of our locations also offer confidential counselling at this challenging stage of life.

For new graduates, we can offer openings in a multitude of fields: financial and economic disciplines, law, computer sciences and much more. For natural scientists, of course, our R&D and Medical Affairs teams are an outstanding place to develop and hone their skills, and then put them to use in a truly worthwhile cause: better lives through better health outcomes.

On the other hand, we know that serious talent exists outside the university system. We find some of our most valuable people through apprenticeships, in every field from engineering to administration. If you want to learn by doing, we see to it that you learn from the best and do something worthwhile.

As we said, we invest a great deal in talent, and it pays off. Our people stay with us and build not just a career but a future for themselves – and for us.
