While the Organization has been awarded on a country level for the past seven years, this year marked the first win for the KSA operations, as well the wider inclusion of the international Organization as a ‘Global Top Employer’, where it joins the ranks of fifteen other international organizations.
Boehringer Ingelheim particularly impressed the certification board with its long-term strategic orientation, its modern management culture as well as strong employee communication practices. Boehringer Ingelheim’s fostering of a flexible working environment during COVID-19 helped ensure that employees were able to adapt their work in a timely manner to align with social distancing requirements and safety protocols, ensuring business continuity across its different geographies.

The inclusive corporate culture of the company was also cited as a highlight by the jury who found the Organization’s ethical, inclusive approach to corporate decisions and a clear focus on the transfer and application of company values to be highly commendable.

The independent Top Employers Institute certifies employers worldwide who wish to offer their employees excellent working conditions and support their development. Certification is based on a multi-level program to examine human resources management with detailed final feedback.
