Collaborative Working (including Joint Working)

Boehringer Ingelheim is committed to working in partnership with the NHS through the ABPI Collaborative Working framework to implement sustainable healthcare projects which benefit patient outcomes and/or the NHS.  As a family owned company, we are able to take a long-term view and work together with healthcare organisations to improve population health and system efficiencies.

Collaborative working projects require the ‘pooling of resources’ and a contractual arrangement between the NHS organisation and Boehringer Ingelheim, and as such a detailed scoping and governance process is followed.

For further information on Collaborative Working guidance published by the ABPI and NHS Confederation see Accelerating transformation: How to develop effective NHS-industry partnerships | NHS Confederation
